In the words of Ken Doherty, “The 5 S’s of sports training are Stamina, Speed, Strength, Skill and spirit; but the greatest of these is Spirit”. This very sporting spirit was witnessed in the Annual Sports event, Footloose 2023, presented by the Kindergarten students of National Public School, Indiranagar. The event had its grand opening with the torch run and declaration of the meet open by our Principal, followed by impeccable march past. It was an enthralling experience for the parents to watch their little ones present coordinated exercise drills with pom-poms and saree. The parents enthusiastically cheered on as the students took to the track to compete with their peers in exciting races. A fitting finale to the event was a display by students who showcased their skating, cartwheel, hula hoop, dribbling, scooter and cycle riding skills. Finally, the event ended with a spectacular show with all the students, teachers and the support staff grooving to the music which left the parents euphoric.
