On 12 September 2023, a fabulous event reflecting the importance of the Sanskrit language was showcased by the students of Grades 8 to 10 of National Public School, Indiranagar. The programme started with a melodious invocation song, ''Sharade Karunanidhe”, sung in harmony by the students of Grades 8 to 10, accompanied by the mridangam. This performance was followed by a speech by the students of Grade 8 about how Sanskrit is an interesting and fascinating language. Next, a series of unique and interesting shlokas were recited by the students of Grade 8 and 9. Following this, students from Grade 9 presented a unique programme where the chanting of shlokas was accompanied by a beautiful dance depicting the meaning of the shlokas. Everyone then participated enthusiastically in a quiz based on Indian mythology. Finally, the audience was enchanted by a dance on the Dashavatara by the students of Grade 10.
