Saanvi Thakur, Grade 9 Student, Awarded Junior Scholarship for Odissi by CCRT

Saanvi Thakur, a talented Grade 9 student, has been honoured with the prestigious junior scholarship for Odissi dance from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) supported by the Ministry of Culture. This remarkable achievement marks Saanvi's second recognition, having previously received the scholarship in Grade 6. Her passion for the classical dance form and exceptional skills have earned her this well-deserved accolade. Saanvi's journey as an Odissi dancer inspires aspiring artists, and her dedication promises a bright future in the world of dance.

N Suryaansh Reddy

N Suryaansh Reddy of Grade 3 won 3rd place in the South Zone junior golf competition held in Mysore and 2nd place in South Zone junior golf tournament held in Clover Greens, Hosur.

Orissa Debating League Championship

Three students of National Public School, Indiranagar clinched the top spot in the Orissa Debating League Championship, held online on 1 April 2023. Organized by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Indian Debating League, the competition witnessed the remarkable performance of three Grade 12 students: Shruti Chalapathy, Diya Ranjith, and Vaishnavi Prasad. Diya Ranjith and Vaishnavi Prasad were honoured as "Best Speaker Grade Wise," while Diya Ranjith also secured the title of "Best Speaker Finals." Congratulations to the NPS Indiranagar team for their outstanding achievements!

Isha Merchant's Novel-The Swing

Isha Merchant, a talented student from Grade 10, has recently published a captivating novel that chronicles the tale of an estranged family trapped on the wrong side of the border during India's Partition. Drawing inspiration from her own ancestors' experiences, the book has garnered international attention and achieved remarkable sales. It is a commendable achievement and a compelling read for those intrigued by a first-hand account of our country's history.

CCRT junior scholarship

Sahana Kaushik of Grade 10, National Public School Indiranagar has been awarded the prestigious CCRT junior scholarship for Carnatic music for the year 2021-2022. She is one amongst the ten recipients of this scholarship for Carnatic music from the state of Karnataka for the year.

The Center for Cultural Resource and Training (CCRT) comes under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and this scholarship is offered to children in the age group of 10 and 14 years to encourage children in pursuing India’s traditional art forms.

Karnataka State U09 chess champion

Abhinav Anand of Grade 4, National Public School, Indiranagar has made us proud by winning the Karnataka state U 09 chess championship. He garnered eight points from nine rounds to stay unbeaten in the championship. He will represent the state of Karnataka in the India National U09 championship which will be held later this year.
