National Public School, Indiranagar, organized “Ragasudha”, a musical programme, on 9 February 2020. The programme brought out the essence of Carnatic music and celebrated the contribution of Saint Tyagaraja through a group recital that showcased the talents of the young artistes of the school. The enthusiastic collaboration between a group of parents and teachers, who ably supported the students added a very interesting dimension to the whole programme.
The school Principal, Ms Shantha Chandran, welcomed the gathering and remarked that the show aimed at preserving and promoting the culture and tradition of Indian Classical music.
Every segment of the concert evoked thunderous applause from the audience, which comprised of parents, grandparents and well-wishers of the performers.
The elaborate arrangements made by the school ensured a perfect ambience for an evening filled with soul-stirring classical music.
