Teachers of National Public School, Indiranagar, wholeheartedly believe that kindness to children, love for children, goodness to children are the investments that never fail. The teachers had planned an array of wonderful events to entertain and enlighten the day. The programme started with the command, school prayer and the National Pledge by the teachers. Next, we had a traditional dance to acknowledge our culture that makes us who we are, followed by a jugalbandi, which was a blend of western and Indian cultures. As we believe that there is no age bar for learning, the teachers had a little humorous chat as to how much we learn from our children every day. The teachers also believed that though there is diversity in all of us, we stand united always, we are one for all and all for one, and this was portrayed through a dance – Indian taal with a western dhamaal. Finally, the programme concluded with a fashion show where teachers showcased sarees depicting the artisans of the different states of India.
