From Classroom to Singapore: Two Ideas, Two Wins
At the Science Conference themed 'Trends and Insights for Tomorrow' organised by TAP (21-22 August 2026) and hosted by NPS International, Singapore, our students made their mark. The young innovators behind JalRaksha — Shreya Mahesh of Grade 12, Vedanshi Pathak of Grade 9, Sashwath of Grade 8 and Vishwajith Vivek of Grade 7 — won Best Idea for their lake-cleaning pod that restores rural water bodies. The minds behind Omni-Thor — Shankh Dutt Jha of Grade 10, Nethra Devaraj of Garde 9, Saanvi G Pillai of Grade 8 and Ridit Misra of Grade 8 — earned Best Presentation for envisioning self-sustaining urban surfaces that regulate temperature and harvest rainwater. A grand exposure with an even grander accomplishment!
A Remarkable Checkmate: Rhythm Verma Makes His Mark on the National Stage
Rhythm Verma of Grade 5 delivered an outstanding performance at the Check N Mate All India Open FIDE Rated Chess Tournament. Competing against talented young players from across the country, Rhythm displayed exceptional strategy, focus, and determination to secure Second Place in the Under-Ten category. His remarkable achievement is truly inspiring. Congratulations, Rhythm!
NPS Indiranagar Golfer Clinches South Zone Title
Kishori Subramanian of Grade 8 brought laurels to our school by winning the C Category (11–13 years) at the prestigious Indian South Zone Golf Tournament, held at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club, Mysore, from 2nd to 4th June 2026. Her remarkable achievement reflects dedication, perseverance, and sporting excellence.
