We do appreciate parents seeking admission for their ward in NPS-National Public School, Indiranagar, for the Academic Year 2026-27 in Grades I to IX and XI. Parents may register ONLINE for the same. As per the New Education Policy, the child is required to complete 6 years for Grade I as on 1 June 2026 for Academic Year 2026-27.

PROCESS FOR REGISTRATION

1. Read the guidelines and proceed to fill the Registration Form. (Please expand the student’s, father’s and mother’s names as per Aadhar and Passport as CBSE encourages full names.)
2. For Grade I, the names of the student and parents on the application form should match their names as per their respective Aadhar Cards.
3. For Grades II to IX, the names of the student and parents on the application form should match their names as per the Transfer Certificate from the previous school and their respective Aadhar Cards.
4. For Grade XI, the names of the student and parents on the application form should match their names as registered with CBSE or other Boards for the Grade X examination.
5. Upload Aadhar Card, Passport, Birth Certificate and last 3 years’ academic progress report (Term 1 Progress Report for current year).
6. Upload latest passport size photographs of the father, mother and ward.
7. Submit the duly filled-in form.
8. Make online payment of Rs. 750/- towards processing charges.
9. Take a printout of the submitted form.

Documents to be submitted to the school along with the printout of the Registration Form duly signed by both parents:

1. Copy of Aadhar Card
2. Copy of Passport
3. Copy of Birth Certificate
4. Copy of last 3 years’ progress report (Term 1 Progress Report for current year)
5. Health report (if the child needs any special medical attention)

Registration for admissions will be processed only after receiving the printout of the duly filled-in Registration Form and the above-mentioned documents. These can be dropped in the box kept in the school premises on any working weekday between 9:00 am and 12 noon from 12th September, 2025 onwards.

A large number of parents are seeking admission to NPS Rajajinagar, NPS Indiranagar, NPS Koramangala, NPS HSR, NAFL Basaveshwarnagar and NAFL North - Urbana Residential Complex next to the Airport. We would like to inform every parent that we have very limited seats available. As per the policy and directive of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), we have the following guidelines for admission. The department of education also follows the same.

1. The first priority is for siblings. Applications from siblings are usually more than twice the number of seats available.
2. The second priority is for children of our teachers and other staff members.
3. Priority for admission is also listed for alumni of our school. As you are aware, NPS has been functioning since 1959. Children of the alumni group are also many.
4. The next preference is for the nationally mobile group, including central services and other transferable services of India.
5. There is also another category of people who are internationally mobile and are coming from schools outside India. Bangalore is seeing a large number of this migratory group who are seeking admission to NPS.
6. Now the government prioritises admission for minorities from different states of India to promote national integration.
7. Admissions to Grades I to IX and XI are finalised based on the performance in the Entrance Test and subject to vacancies likely to arise on account of withdrawal due to parents’ transfer.
8. Parents are requested to check the website periodically for updates regarding the Entrance Test.
9. Entrance Test for all our branches (NPS Rajajinagar, NPS Indiranagar, NPS Koramangala, NPS HSR) will be conducted on the same day at same time.

To have an effective teaching-learning process, we maintain limited class strength. Considering the limited number of seats available, it is expected that those who seek admission will realise and understand the constraints the institution faces. The disappointment of not getting admission should not become a matter of unhappiness among parents. Only selected candidates will be informed telephonically.
