Children’s day, a day that is dedicated to celebrate the spirit, innocence and boundless potential of children, is an occasion to take a pledge to create a world where every child feels safe, inspired and empowered to blossom to their fullest potential. Providing such opportunities and unwavering support sets up a precedence to raising strong leaders who will shape a better tomorrow for all.

On 10 November 2023, students walked into National Public School, Indiranagar for a day packed with events set to surprise and cheer them on account of Children’s Day celebrations. A spectacular assembly conducted by the teachers started off the day. After the prayer and the recitation of the pledge, a series of performances ranging from live music with popular handpicked songs, an energetic dance number choreographed and executed to perfection which was then followed by a retro themed fashion show which brought in a slice of the 70’s, left the audience ecstatic. A flashmob conducted by all the teachers for their students concluded the assembly drawing a resounding cheer from an enthralled audience. Various inter-house events then went underway drawing in students to enthusiastically support their teams. The celebrations for the day then continued with multiple activities planned for students from art and craft, promoting healthy habits to friendly sporting events. The ‘Play Along’ inter-house competition for Grades 9-12 marked a befitting end to the fun-packed day. All in all, the day concluded with cheerful grinning faces taking back beautiful memories, young and not-so-young alike.
