On Thursday, 16 October 2025, the Kindergarten students of National Public School, Indiranagar, visited the Mayo Hall Fire Station as an extension to their learning on ‘People Who Help Us’. Students were explained about the components of fire and the different types of fire. They witnessed a demonstration of practiced methods of extinguishing a fire, including a new addition to the firefighters’ toolkit, a robot that can move through narrow areas with a hose attached. Students were thrilled as the robot glided by, showering them with refreshing droplets from its hose. As a token of appreciation, the students presented the team with a card and a memento, and brought back good memories of the day.
