On Friday, 24 October 2025, the Kindergarten students of National Public School, Indiranagar, were taken for a field trip to HAL Police Station as an extension to their learning on the topic ‘People Who Help Us’. Students were taken around the station, briefed about all the different ways in which the police help citizens, and were shown all the subdivisions. The friendly police personnel who escorted the students around also showed the various tools, including walkie-talkies, handcuffs, and different types of handguns. This experience of learning beyond the classroom had all students delighted and confident that the police fraternity may look firm but are kind and friendly. As a token of appreciation, students presented the officers with a card and a memento.
