For the Montessori seniors, today was special—they had the opportunity to meet someone who showed them how to care for their teeth, the dentist.

The dentist began the session with a brief explanation about milk teeth. She used a lion hand puppet, along with a model of teeth, to explain the correct way to brush. The session highlighted why brushing twice a day and choosing healthy foods help maintain strong teeth.

During the session, the dentist also emphasised the importance of regular dental clinic visits to maintain healthy teeth. The session concluded with the senior children practising the correct brushing technique using their toothbrushes, followed by a structured question-and-answer segment in which they actively participated.
