The children in the Montessori went on a picnic to The Enchanting Acres. After breakfast, the children were treated to several activities including a pony ride, trying their hands at the potter’s wheel, a visit to the vegetable patch where they filled soil in their pots and also planted their own seeds, a brush with spray painting and then the most exciting part of the day... visiting the livestock. Much animation ensued as they saw ducks, geese, horses, rabbits, sheep, cows, pigs and turkeys. A treasure hunt in the orchard saw happy faces trotting off towards lunch. The day ended with most of the children napping in the bus!
