January 19 dawned as a cold and misty day but that did not dampen the spirits of the children of Global Montessori Centre, Indiranagar. They were all geared to go on a picnic to The Big Barn Farm.

The children were served a hearty breakfast and they immediately launched off into the activities for the day. The trip was filled with many experiential activities like animal petting and feeding, some gardening and fish feeding. They learnt the right way to hold a goose and gently stroke the feathers of the turkey. Some even held the lamb on their shoulders. After lunch, the children danced and played in the play area.
