YEP: Little Bosses, Big Dreams
The Young Entrepreneurship Program was an inspiring event where Grade 6 students of National Public School, Indiranagar stepped into the role of young entrepreneurs. After weeks of preparation, they pitched their ideas to their parents, who acted as customers and investors for the day.
Students designed, produced, priced, and sold their own hand-made products while learning about cost price, selling price, profit, and teamwork. With roles such as Product Managers and Finance Managers, they managed stalls selling items like keychains, earrings, eatables, moon lamps, and coasters. One student even played the role of a lively hawker, adding marketplace excitement.
All profits were donated to an NGO, making the experience both educational and socially meaningful.
